neumark brandenburg germany

A photographic postcard dating back to 1937 of one of the streets in the small town of Lagow, Neumark, Germany.

Here on the Ostbrandenburg website we aim to give our visitors an idea of what the Prussian province of Ostbrandenburg (Neumark) in Germany looked prior to it becoming part of Poland in 1945.  We have in excess of 1200 original photographs and vintage picture postcards in our Ostbrandenburg pictorial archive. These images include everything from the smallest village to the largest cities in - what was until the end of the Second World War - East Brandenburg or Neumark, Germany.

Follow the links below to view the images we have in our archive of each individual location in what at some point in history part of either Ostbrandenburg or Neumark. We hope to scan and digitize a large number of these unique images for interested parties and researchers to view for free. New images are added on a regular basis, so come back soon to see more of what was Ostbrandenburg (East Brandenburg) and/or Neumark, prior to the end of the Second World War.
